Once accepted by your Rotary District Committee, you will be required to attend several day long or weekend orientation sessions.

Experienced Rotary personnel and former exchange students will help you to acquire the skills and attitudes you will need to accommodate to living abroad. You will meet the other "out bound" students from your district and the current foreign "in bound" students who will advise you on adjusting to new families and schools.

This Orientation weekend traditionally occurs on the first weekend in October, and is conducted in Townsville, Qld.
